The Committee of Stoke Gabriel Pre-School are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years qualified Practitioner to join the Team at our busy Pre-School in the heart of the village.
You must be passionate about providing a high quality early years education to the young children of the village and surrounding areas, through interaction and play.
We are looking for someone who would be willing to lead the literacy programme within the Setting as well as having an enjoyment of outdoor learning including an interest in Forest School. We would welcome someone who has experience of working with 2 to 4 year olds to deliver fresh approaches to learning which will enrich and complement the current early year’s provision of the Setting.
This is a permanent post for 3 days a week (22.5 hours/week). Tuesday and Thursday 8.30 am – 4.00 pm and a third day to be agreed (this is dependent on number of children attending the sessions)

The village of Stoke Gabriel presents an idyllic world for young children, be it picnics in the Orchard, storytelling under the 1,000 year old Yew tree in the 13th century churchyard, crabbing in the Mill Pond or the numerous woodland areas including the enchanting award winning fairy wood, where fairies and trolls reside. Our children greatly benefit from these and many other unique and local amenities as well as trips further afield such as Paignton Fire Station and Pennywell Farm.
We currently have vacancies in our friendly, secure, stimulating and fun environment for children from the age of two up until primary school.
