Needing a new chairperson for the pre-school committee

We need a list of names of willing volunteers for the position of chairperson by Tuesday 10th November so that a candidate can be voted on at the meeting on Wednesday evening.

It was suggested that we approach the Toddler Group parents to find a chairperson.

Claire Turner requests that offers of help with anything, not just in the role of chair, is needed.

Caroline Ridge offered help with small jobs.

Sue Stacy volunteered to go to the Toddler Group on Tuesday and speak to the mums there.

Mary Huxter volunteered her typing skills.

The Pre-School Learning Alliance cannot manage the pre-school for us i.e. we cannot do without a chairperson.

Parents were asked to come to the meetings and volunteer to do bits-and-pieces to help out, if nothing else (e.g. Christmas Bazaar).

A list of jobs that need to be done could be put up in the pre-school and parents could volunteer to take them on.

The PLA representative will come to our next meeting to advise us on where to go if we do not have a new chairperson.

Old School Room Renovations

These need to be well under way by April and completed by the next academic year otherwise the pre-school will only be able to do half days.  It is vital that a committee of parents is set up to co-ordinate the work and get it done.
