The Setup

The pre-school currently offers full day care (9am until 3pm) on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as morning (9am until 11.30am) and lunch sessions (11.30am till 12.30pm) on Thursdays and Fridays.

The pre-school operates with a minimum of 3 members of staff per session, supervising no more than 17 children. The amount of under 3 year olds is limited to no more than 4 children per session.

Smoke Gabriel pre-school is held in the Old Schoolroom, a grade 2 listed building situated in Church Walk, originally built in 1876 as a place for the vicar to teach the children of the village.

Opposite the Old Schoolroom there is an enclosed outdoor play area set within one of the orchards that Stoke Gabriel in famous for.
