About SGPS

Stoke Gabriel is a beautiful village set on the banks of the river Dart near the old market town of Totnes and the popular holiday towns of Paignton end Torquay.

There has been a pre-school meeting in the Old School Rooms for over 30 years and Stoke Gabriel Pre-school is proud to continue this tradition in a lively modern way appropriate do the children it serves today.

The pre-school enjoys strong links with the local community and primary school which the majority of the children go on to attend. The supervisor and staff of our pre-school work closely with the head teacher and reception class teachers to support the children in their move into primary school as well as helping the children develop a strong sense of belonging.

In liaison with the Parish council, the Primary school, the children and the villagers, we are in the process of redeveloping age outside area, to make it a safer and more exciting space for the children to explore end experiment in.
